Plain Talk. More Possibilities.
I didn’t decide to run for city council because I had political ambitions. I decided to run because I sat in on enough city meetings to know that what’s missing is someone willing to say out loud what the numbers already show.
I’m a CPA. I’ve spent my career looking at budgets, spotting waste, and telling people things they sometimes don’t want to hear. That’s not always comfortable. But it’s what responsible governance looks like.

My Background
I’ve been a Frisco resident for 22 years — living at Plantation Resort, which means I have a front-row seat to how decisions made at city hall affect the people who live here day to day. I’m not a newcomer with big ideas and no context. I know this community.
Professionally, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Finance from UT Dallas and a Master’s in City and Regional Planning from UT Arlington. I also hold a Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from UT Dallas, which is a technical way of saying I understand how land use, infrastructure, and city planning interact. I spent six years working as an Urban Planner with the DallasPlan.
That background matters. City council decisions aren’t abstract — they shape roads, zoning, tax rates, and development priorities for decades. You want someone in that seat who has actually studied how those decisions play out.
Why Independent
I’m not a Republican or a Democrat on this ballot. I’m a resident who thinks local government works best when it’s focused on local problems — not national talking points. Frisco’s budget challenges, public safety needs, and economic development questions don’t have partisan answers. They have smart ones and not-so-smart ones.
I intend to bring the smart ones.
A Little More About Me
Married 27 years. Three granddaughters who keep me honest about what kind of city we’re actually building. I describe myself as a futurist — which just means I pay attention to where things are heading and plan accordingly, rather than reacting after the fact.
That’s the kind of thinking I’ll bring to Place 6.
